Q. I’ve never had something “custom made” before. Is it expensive?

A. It depends on the complexity of the project, and the amount you need to have done (and, of course, the cost of the materials). I will work with your budget.

 

Q. What if you send me a picture and I don’t like it?

A. Custom design is iterative by nature! While I’d love it if you were happy with the very first image I send, I’m not expecting it. What I like to do is hear what you like – and don’t like – about the design, and we can use that as a starting point. Generally, most clients are happy with about the third version. But you ultimately have the last say!

 

Q. How long does the process take?

A. The time required for design varies, from 3-4 weeks, but rush orders can be accommodated (e.g., for weddings, grad, push presents for new mums, special occasions, etc.) Because all our orders are “special” orders, we generally require 3-4 weeks in terms of production time. Shipping time depends on the option you choose: both regular post and FedEx are available as options.

 

Q. Can I make edits to designs in your collection? What if I just want to change the materials?

A. Absolutely, all our items are made to order, so minor changes are no problem.

 

Q.  But… I don’t live in Alberta. Or even Canada! Does that make a difference?

A. No difference at all. We ship worldwide, and we will do our best to accommodate your shipping needs, whether cost or speed is the main factor.
